The lodge is clean and very well equipped for your 'home from home' experience.  The children (aged 8,5+2) enjoyed the York Maze & Scarborough Beach! Hot tub also went down well with all of us!!  We came here to spend 'special' time with our brother, sister-in-law & darling 1 yr old niece as they live in Dubai and we don't get to see them often.  We had a fab time!!

31/05/10 - 04/06/10 - The Griffins, Bingham, Nottingham. "Heaven is a place on earth - called Herrington Park! Everything is beautiful and peaceful and so restful.  It was so lovely we did not go out all week.  The weather was superb, so a perfect chill out week was had by us all.  What more could we want?  The accommodation is fabulous and the hot tub just the icing on the cake.  Didn't think the kids could manage without their mobile phones and the internet for a week but the hot tub was a wonderful distraction! Get up extra early in the morning to watch the rabbits playing in the grass and the peace and tranquility is just beautiful - not a sound!  Not one thing to complain about - except we wish we did not have to leave! Can't wait to come again.  We shall definitely be back for more.  Many thanks to Diane & Mark for creating such a lovely little peace of heaven! Love the Griffins. xxxx

Diane   An e-mail to let you know that our visit last week was fantastic you even laid on the sunshine for the week thanks   I would recommend your Log Cabins to anyone, everything was thought of and I know our friends were over the moon with the hot-tub.   I hope that your next visitors to the same cabin do not worry too much about the blackbird who started his nest on the rear wheel of the car. We had a fantastic stay in the comfortable, modern accommodation. We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful in the lead up to and during our holiday. The information in the accommodation took us on a lovely walk around the surrounding countryside. We would highly recommend the local pub ‘St Vincent’ where we enjoyed the good range of house beers and a fantastic meal. This evening was topped off with a soak in the cabins luxury hot tub-perfect!

A fantastic break was had by us all and we look forward to returning again soon!

"The lodge is fantastic both in the quality of the decor and equipment and the surrounding area.  There is much to do in the area in "all weathers"!  The York park and ride is highly recommended.  Mind the "bunnies" at night when driving as they love headlights. The hot tub is wonderful.  Thanks to the "camp commanders" who are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. We are sure you will love it here as much as we did. Watch out for the Sparrow hawk!!
