We had a fantastic stay in the comfortable, modern accommodation. We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful in the lead up to and during our holiday. The information in the accommodation took us on a lovely walk around the surrounding countryside. We would highly recommend the local pub ‘St Vincent’ where we enjoyed the good range of house beers and a fantastic meal. This evening was topped off with a soak in the cabins luxury hot tub-perfect! A fantastic break was had by us all and we look forward to returning again soon!

Half way home I remembered that we had forgotten to sign the visitors book. We wanted to say we had a great holiday; the accommodation was lovely; the hot tub was a new experience which we all enjoyed a lot; York was a fabulous city for families- so much to see and do. I had a great 20th birthday here and will definitely come back again. The location is great, close enough for day trips out, but also far enough away to relax and chill out peacefully. The accommodation was just as the internet described, overall this was an amazing weekend and we had so much family fun. Thank you. X

An absolute brilliant weekend had by all. The accommodation was spotless, top notch! The living area is amazing, decorated to a high level and the bedrooms were very comfortable. What can I say about the hot tub? it made the whole weekend special especially at night when we thought there was a crazy axe murderer in the bushes but actually there wasn't. lol! Brilliant!!! Ps will come back!

Recommend carvey on Sunday at the Grey Horse, upstairs restaurant, Sutton Arms for pool, St Vincent excellent for lobster. Skipton, York, Lightwood Park & Scarborough worth a drive. Cabins nice and relaxing watch for voles and rabbits. Hairdryer & tongs for kitchen would've been useful but overall nice stay in good accommodation - will return with niece and nephew. Andy had a good birthday 'snoozing' in recliner. Hot tub great X Lesley & Andy.

Been before and have come here again. Had another fantastic week, now we feel like it's our second home. Once again hot tub great. Log cabin 5 star luxury, Mark & Diane perfect hosts. Thanks again xxx Also a fantastic base to tour around (in the centre) to get to Bridlington, Harrogate, York, Pickering, Malton North York Moors, if you can tear yourself away from the Log cabin and hot tub.

Back once more for our relaxing family break. The log cabin is still top class comfort. Lovely to relax on the decking with a glass of wine and listen to the wildlife as spring is upon us. Recommend The Deep (aquarium attraction at Hull for family day out) Very good value. Thanks again Mark & Diane. Will be back for Christmas shopping. X

Diane, An e-mail to let you know that our visit last week was fantastic you even laid on the sunshine for the week thanks I would recommend your Log Cabins to anyone, everything was thought of and I know our friends were over the moon with the hot-tub. I hope that your next visitors to the same cabin do not worry too much about the blackbird who started his nest on the rear wheel of the car. It was there every morning even on the last day when the car was parked differently it still found the same wheel.
