Excellent accommodation - clean and very comfortable. Will definitely recommend lodges to friends and will come back again!
The lodge is excellent (so is the hot tub) The only bad thing is that the rabbits get hypnotized by the lights on the car and so they sit there (in front of the car) so me and my brother scare them away, but despite that, it is brilliant.
The lodge is fantastic both in the quality of the decor and equipment and the surrounding area. There is much to do in the area in all weathers! The York park and ride is highly recommended. Mind the bunnies at night when driving as they love headlights. The hot tub is wonderful. Thanks to the camp commanders who are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. We are sure you will love it here as much as we did. Watch out for the Sparrow hawk!!
Enjoyed everything about Herrington - cabin, hot tub, surroundings, wildlife - will stay memorable for a long time!

Hot tub superb, very comfortable accommodation, we all thoroughly enjoyed our break, even though we had three generations of family. Will certainly return and recommend to all.
We wanted a nice relaxing weekend, where four friends could relax and catch up! And that is exactly what we got! We were all over whelmed by the high standard of the cabin and the hot tub was the highlight! Thanks to Mark & Diane for looking after us, we are already planning our next trip! Very luxurious & lots of space to relax in. Good location for York, but lots of nice places to the south too. Recommend Blacktoft Sands.

Boys loved the hot tub, reclining sofas & cooked breakfasts - I loved the comfy bed & fluffy towels! Sun shone too which was an unusual bonus.

What a beautiful place - don't want to leave. So clean, cosy and comfortable. Beautifully decorated and thought out. Wanting for nothing in the kitchen!! Hot tub, reclining settees etc are the icing on the cake. Perfect Thank you!! Can't wait to come back! X
